EasyPro at EUSEW 2025

23 June 2025

From 10th to 12th June 2025, EasyPro presented at the European Sustainable Energy Week 2025 (EUSEW). The EUSEW is the biggest event dedicated to energy efficiency and renewables. The event was organised by the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Energy and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA). It was attended by policymakers, researchers, industry leaders, civil society actors, technical experts, academics and innovators, who met to exchange ideas on policies and best practices under the overarching theme of ‘Powering a fair and competitive green transition’.

EUSEW 2025

EasyPro took part in the EUSEW Energy Fair and featured at a joint exhibition stand alongside 10 other EU energy projects: RESPECT Recycling, ESIL, TIGON, Booster, ECO2 Fuel, SSTAR Project, CST4ALL, H-HOPE, eFORT Project, HYScale, and NHAV – North Adriatic Hydrogen Valley. That each of these projects addressed a different aspect of Europe’s clean energy transition – ranging from batteries’ recycling process to hydropower technology – demonstrated the importance of cross-project collaboration.

At the fair, EasyPro project coordinator Dr Luciano De Tomassi pitched our innovative Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) facilitation service to stakeholders, while Dr Sean Travers engaged with fellow LIFE Programme and EU-funded projects on this topic. While the project was well received overall, stakeholders and EU projects alike expressed particular interest in EasyPro’s matchmaking service, our project bundles, as well as our prequalification of ESCOs and competitive dialogue procurement, which is a more cost-effective alternative to the traditional design-bid-build model. These exchanges enabled knowledge sharing and the exploration of potential partnerships. Project materials and explanatory videos also enabled EasyPro to communicate its goals in a clear and accessible way.

Likewise, EasyPro representatives attended sessions from the EUSEW Policy Conference. This enhanced our knowledge on digital innovation and the latest energy policies, such as REPowerEU, the latter of which EasyPro directly contributes to in stimulating market demand for Net-Zero technologies and assisting in their uptake.

Presenting at the EUSEW Energy Fair 2025 enhanced EasyPro’s visibility beyond Ireland to stakeholders in energy efficiency across the EU, and cemented the value of our work in supporting the EU to meet its climate neutrality goals.
