EasyPro meets at Codema – Dublin’s Energy Agency

This month, the EasyPro consortium met at the Codema – Dublin’s Energy Agency to review the project’s Energy Performance Contracting (EPC) service for Irish universities and the ‘Pathfinder and Requirement Programme’, a template that EasyPro will use for EPC project management.

The Pathfinder programme is a partnership between the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and public bodies to help achieve their retrofit requirements. It aims to build capacity and knowledge in the sector, and aims to achieve a 50% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.

The project delivery approach is as follows:

• Identify objectives for the sector addressing stakeholder and operational needs.
• Define the technical requirements and develop sustainable solutions.
• Provide capital and emergency performance contracting support.
• Gather insights and key learnings to share across the public and commercial sectors.
• Assess the needs of the supply chain and develop capability.
